About Emerald of the Sea International
The Problem
- 1 in 5 girls is a victim of sexual abuse before the age of 18.
- Up to 90% of sexually exploited girls were sexually abused as a child but never told anyone.
- More than one third of women who report being raped before age 18 also experience rape as an adult.
Our Mission
We are leading survivors of sexual trauma & exploitation to the hope, healing, and freedom in Jesus Christ.
Our Vision
We are "Healing Generations & Restoring Nations" with both a biblically based and trauma informed approach.
Through recovery, prevention, outreach, and leadership development, we will restore the entire family system.
As we grow, we plan to launch programs for men, women, young adults, youth, and children!
As we multiply, we will establish local chapters and campuses around the world!
Our History
Emerald of the Sea International is a 501c3 faith-based nonprofit that was founded on May 17, 2018 in Abilene, Texas.
We are now operating completely remotely, giving us the opportunity to serve survivors across the nation and one day around the world!
